I have delivered a valid surety bond in the amount of $5000.00 executed by a surety corporation authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia, protecting Morgan County against damage; or a valid irrevocable letter of credit issued by a bank of savings and loan association, as defined in O.C.G.A. § 7-1-4, in the amount of $5,000.00 in lieu of such bond. I understand that I must follow the designated truck route set forth and approved by Morgan County. I understand and agree that I must abide by all Morgan County Ordinances as it relates to Timber Harvesting, (Article III), Driveways (Article III), County Roadways (Article IV), Truck Routes (Article Litter and Waste Disposal (Section 58-28), Tire Disposal (Section 58-29) and any other County, State or Federal rule, regulation or law that may apply. I also understand that I must implement and abide by the Best Management Practices for Forestry. I understand that I must install a property sized culvert (if needed) and a 20’X50’ gravel driveway with geo-textile liner (if needed); that driveway must be maintained; that I must keep mud off of County roads, that I must install proper signage to inform the public of trucks entering the road (both directions); and that I must post the Timber Harvesting Placard at the entrance being utilized. I also understand that in order to close the said harvesting site and have the bond/letter of credit released, I am to contact the Morgan County Planning and Development Office (706) 342-4373 for an inspection of the property by County officials. I understand that the site must be clear of all litter and waste, temporary stream crossings removed, temporary driveways, removed, right of way repaired (dressed with seed and straw) and any damage to right of way repaired. I have read the terms in this notification and do hereby agree to abide by said rules and regulations.
