Planning Commission Planning Commission Old Business: 1. None Planning Commission New Business: 1. Petition received from H. Vinson DeLaigle for a variance request for property located at 1151 Woodkraft Road, Madison, Georgia, regarding the setback requirement for poultry houses. ACTION – Approved one of the two proposed poultry houses at 1151 Woodkraft Road, Madison, Georgia, provided that setbacks from the road ROW and the side property lines be a minimum of 100’. The second house would be placed to the south of the existing ---PAGE BREAK--- poultry house and would not require a variance. 2. Petition received from Stewart Adams for a variance request for property located at 6721 Seven Islands Road, Madison, Georgia, regarding the setback requirements for poultry houses. ACTION – Approved variance request from Stewart Adams for property located at 6721 Seven Islands Road, Madison, Georgia, regarding the setback requirements for poultry houses. The rear property line complies with the 200’ required setback. 3. Petition received from Hundred Acre Farm for a Zoning Map Amendment for property located at 1051 Meadow Lane, Madison, Georgia. The request is to rezone approximately 106 acres from Lakeshore Medium Density Residential/Recreational (LR2) to Agricultural (AG). Commissioners Discussed. Funding for Feasibility Study for Regional Food Hub ACTION – Approved $15,000 funding for feasibility study for regional food hub. 2. Morgan County Energy Conservation Strategy ACTION – Commissioners discussed and decided to take no further action. 3. * Resolution in Support of the City of Covington Application for Air Georgia Construction Grant ACTION – Approved resolution in support of the City of Covington’s application for Air Georgia Construction Grant. ADD TO AGENDA 4. Paving of Ponder Pines Road ACTION – Commissioners discussed.
