Rental Agreement FY2013 MORGAN COUNTY AGRICULTURE CENTER 440 Hancock Street Madison, Georgia 30650 TO: Groups and Individuals Leasing the Morgan County Agriculture Center FR: Carol Williams, Chairman Morgan County Agriculture Center Authority Enclosed is a Rental Agreement and application for the Morgan County Ag Center. The Morgan County Ag Center is a non-profit facility for the benefit of youth activities and organizations. We hope that your organization will enjoy the facility and have a successful event. Please read the enclosed rental agreement carefully and note that your $75.00 deposit will be applied towards your usage fees only if the facility is left clean. No Smoking signs and No Alcoholic Beverage signs have been installed at the center. We ask each using-organization to enforce these policies. Because of State law, we have initiated a 30-feet emergency vehicle (fire lane) policy surrounding the barn. We have asked the Morgan Co. Sheriff’s Dept. to help enforce this policy and ask for your help and cooperation also. The PA system is available for use from the Extension office and can be picked up with the keys for the facility the day before the event and returned the Monday after the event when your itemized fee payment is due. Our goal is to provide the safest, cleanest, cheapest and most convenient facility possible. Your support of these policies will help us achieve this goal. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Rental Agreement FY2013 Morgan County Ag Center Release Agreement (Practice Rides) Property Owner: Morgan County, by an through its Board of Commissioners and the Morgan County Agricultural Center Authority Property: Morgan County Agricultural Center, Athens Hwy, Madison, GA 30650 This release agreement cover the Calendar year (January 1 through December 31) Licensee (Rider:): LICENSEE 1. Person wishing to use Ag Center for equestrian-related activities. 2. Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (21 years old) and adult shall remain on premises for entire activity. 3. Licensee must be county residents only. AGREEMENT 1. Licensee agrees to pay a $5.00 per rider per visit donation fee for up keep of facility. 2. Licensee agrees to leave facility clean, free of trash and in same condition as was found on arrival. 3. Licensee agrees to make all repairs to facility should any damage arise while in use. 4. Use of facility is for day use only, no over night visits and no stall use.. 5. Licensee completely and forever releases Property Owner from all liability for any claims, demands, injuries, obligations, actions, causes of action, rights, damages, costs, losses of service, expenses and compensation of any nature whatsoever which arise wholly or partially due to the negligence of Property Owner arising out of or connected to the use of Property. 6. This agreement shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia and any action arising in any way out of this agreement shall be decided in the Superior Court of Morgan County. 7. Licensee recognizes the use of Property for equestrian-related purposes, including but not limited to riding horses, is potentially dangerous and could cause injury to Licensee, and Licensee and hi/her legal Guardian(s) (where applicable) expressly acknowledge and understand such risks and voluntarily assume any injuries or damages that result from exposure to such risks.
