2018 HYDRANT FLUSHING SCHEDULE This spring we will be conducting our annual hydrant-flushing program to clean out the distribution system of iron sediment in our lines. While flushing, the iron sediment that has settled in the lines will be dislodged and could find its way into your plumbing. We recommend not doing any laundry on that day and running your water for a minute or two after our flush to clear your lines of sediment. This year we plan to follow the schedule below subject to system conditions and/or weather events. May 7; Beacon Lite Rd. from the Tank south to Highway 105, including Monument Meadows Trailer Park, 8th Street, Century Place, and Century Lane. May 8; Commercial Zone, all properties East of Beacon Lite Rd. May 9; Buttonwood Ct., Buttonwood Place, Trailhead, 5th Street, 4th Street, 3rd Street, Jefferson, Washington, and Raspberry Lane area. May 10; Jefferson cont’d, Washington cont’d, 2nd Street, Adams Street, 1st Street, Lincoln Avenue, Franklin Avenue, Crestview Court, and Santa Fe Avenue. May 11; Santa Fe Avenue cont’d, Lake of the Rockies subdivision and McShane Place May 14: West Oak Ridge Subdivision, Trumbull Lane, Mitchell Avenue and Avenue. May 15; Valley Ridge, Pastimes and Santa Fe Trails subdivisions. May 16; Santa Fe Trails subdivision cont’d, Trails End subdivision. The Town’s CCR for Calendar Year 2017 will not be mailed. Copies are available at Monument Town Hall, 645 Beacon Lite Road and Monument’s Water Department office at 225 Beacon Lite Rd.
