Town of Monument Introduction to online tax filing system January 29, 2025 ---PAGE BREAK--- GovOS aka Munirevs Overview 2 1/29/2025 An online system to file and remit: • Monument Sales Tax 3.50% Benefits to using • Convenient way to submit payments and returns • On time filings • View account balances • View returns due and filed • View alerts and tasks on your account • Easily change your business contact information • Manage multiple businesses with one login ---PAGE BREAK--- First Time Users: • Go to • Click on “New Users” 3 • Enter your e-mail address and follow the instructions in the e-mail you will receive from MUNIRevs ---PAGE BREAK--- Create a User Profile 4 ---PAGE BREAK--- • Apply for a new account (not previously filing under a Monument Site ID in 2024 with DOR) Register your business OR apply for a tax account • Add your existing business account(s) – already received an account, activation code ) 5 ---PAGE BREAK--- • View alerts and tasks Managing your account • Change your contact information, add new accounts, remove accounts (Bottom of screen) View tasks that need to be completed (new) – items not started, due View open tasks (pending) – items opened and started but not submitted, may be still due 6 View your business information Add additional businesses ---PAGE BREAK--- Filing a return Click on “Submit Sales Tax Form (new)” 7 ---PAGE BREAK--- Filing a return continued Please Save and Submit return. The system will navigate to the “Shopping Cart” or check out (even for zero return filings). 8 ---PAGE BREAK--- Cart/Checkout – Click to Payment Method 9 ---PAGE BREAK--- Payment Method Entry – Pay Now 10 1/31/2025 ---PAGE BREAK--- Paying taxes continued Once completed you will be directed to a confirmation page and receive a system generated email receipt 11 You can also go to the home page (Business Center) to double check that the transaction has been completed ---PAGE BREAK--- Zero Dollar Return Filing and Processing Complete the return as required and click the submit button. The system will navigate to the shopping cart. At this point please click on the “Payment Method” orange button. 12 ---PAGE BREAK--- Zero Dollar Return Processing Continued The system will indicate a “Zero Cost Checkout” and to finalize the return submission, please click on the “Complete Transaction” orange button.
