Total collections for July exceeded the budget projection by $63,000 The Town's year-to-date collections have increased 14% ($501,000) over 2018 collections, with increases seen in all sectors and geographic areas. In addition, the Town is receiving additional remote tax collections as anticipated after the implementation of the new state regulations regarding out-of-state retailers. As compared to the 2019 budgeted year-to-date collections, the Town has collected an additional $323,000 in gross sales taxes. CURRENT MONTH YEAR-TO-DATE SUMMARY RESULTS TOWN OF MONUMENT, CO JULY 2019 - SALES TAX REPORT The Town of Monument Sales Tax Report examines tax collections for the month of July 2019, which were reported to the State in August 2019, and includes an analysis for the year-to- date results along with prior year results.
