DESIGN REVIEW BOARD Interview Questions 1. To maintain diversity on the Board, a member should have expertise in one of the following areas: • History • Graphic arts • The architectural and cultural heritage of Missoula What can you bring from these three areas, or from similar areas? 2. What do you see as design issues confronting Missoula? And what difference do they make? 3. How do you like the advertising signage you see as you move about Missoula? 4. Are you familiar with the Design Review Board and the current sign ordinance? [For incumbents, assume “yes” and skip this initial question. If the answer to this is “not familiar” skip to Are there changes you would like to see in how the Board does business, or in the law? 5. [If the applicant has served before on DRB or other local boards] What was your previous service like? 6. [If this is a candidate for the alternative position] Would you be content with the position of alternate?
