City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Public Safety and Health Item: Council Appointments to the Health Board Date: November 6, 2009 Prepared by: Kelly Elam Initiated by: Action Required: Conduct interviews and appoint one member to the Health Board. Recommended Motion: I move the City Council appoint as a health board member for the term commencing January 1, 2010 and ending December 31, 2012. Timeline: Referral to committee: November 9, 2009 Committee discussion: December 16, 2009 Deadline: December 31, 2009 Background: There is one expiring position on the health board. Applicants can reside in Missoula City or County, and this position is a three year term. Applications close on November 13, 2009.
