MEMORANDUM DATE: August 21, 2009 TO: Plat, Annexation and Zoning Committee FROM: Mike Barton RE: Title 20 discussion, 8/26 I expect that the Committee will want to consider the R3 zoning designation and hillside height calculation at its August 26 meeting. Both of these items were scheduled for discussion in your last two meetings, but hillside issues have yet to be resolved and R3 has not been discussed at all. I am attaching material that I hope will be helpful to Committee members in their consideration of both these topics. If work on R3 and hillside is completed on Wednesday, Committee may wish to take up changes to the new code that have been recommended by the Public Works Department and the lot-line house option that was stripped from the draft ordinance by the Planning Board.
