RESOLUTION NUMBER A RESOLUTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7-5-4308, MCA PROCEDURE TO MODIFY MUNICIPAL CONTRACTS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 – WHITE PINE PARK – IRRIGATION WELL TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN CAMP WELL DRILLING & PUMP SUPPLY AND THE CITY OF MISSOULA. WHEREAS, the City of Missoula entered into a contract with Camp Well Drilling, on May 19th, 2009, for City Project PR 09-05 WP, White Pine Park – Irrigation Well; and WHEREAS, during the construction of the facilities it became apparent that certain changes to the plan were necessary to achieve the intent of the project; and WHEREAS, the proposed change order has been reviewed and negotiated by the Project Manager and the contractor has agreed to the change in writing, as shown by the attached change order form. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Parks and Recreation Director is hereby authorized to execute changes to the May 19th, 2009 contract between Camp Well Drilling and the City of Missoula as follows: CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 1 WHITE PINE PARK (INCREASE) (DECREASE) DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES IN CONTRACT PRICE IN CONTRACT PRICE 1. Cost to provide 2ND complete $6,838.00 35gpm irrigation well - 2. Extra work contingency for $2,000.00 encountering ground water plume (if needed) – Net Change in Contract Price – Increase $8,838.00 The amount of the contract will be increased by the sum of $8,838.00 with no change to the contract calendar days.
