City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Administration and Finance Item: Employee Assistance Program Professional Services Contract Date: July 22, 2010 Prepared by: Gail Verlanic Initiated by: Human Resources Action Required: Authorize the Mayor to sign the professional services agreement between the city of Missoula and Reliant Behavioral Health, LLC (Employee Assistance Program) Recommended Motion: I move the City Council authorize the Mayor to sign this agreement Timeline: Referral to committee: July 26, 2010 Committee discussion: July 28, 2010 or at the convenience of the committee Chair Background and Alternatives Explored: 3 year contract saves the City $3,800.00 per year for first two years and $3,400.00 in the third year from current contract rates. In addition to savings, this contract provides better benefit to city employees.
