City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Conservation Committee Item: Council Appointments to the Greenhouse Gas & Energy Conservation Team Date: April 5, 2010 Prepared by: Kelly Elam Initiated by: Action Required: Appoint one to the position of a Builders Sector representative to the Greenhouse Gas & Energy Conservation Team for the term starting immediately, and ending on July 31, 2011. Recommended Motion: I move the City Council appoint the following applicant the Greenhouse Gas & Energy Conservation Team for the Builder's Sector representative for the term starting immediately and ending on July 31, 2011. Timeline: Referral to committee: April 26, 2010 Committee discussion: May 12, 2010 Deadline: Background and Alternatives Explored: There is one position open on the Greenhouse Gas Energy Conservation Team for a Builder's Sector representative. Applications closed on April 5, 2010 and we received one application, Alexander (Zandy) Sievers. Sam Hall resigned from this position on the GGEC on March 9, 2010 because he is no longer working in the Building industry. The new term begins immediately and will end on July 31, 2011.
