ORDINANCE NUMBER 3398 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MISSOULA CITY COUNCIL AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.16 MISSOULA MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED “ELECTION WARDS” SECTION 1.16.020 TO UPDATE THE PRECINCTS LOCATED IN EACH WARD. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSOULA THAT TITLE 1, CHAPTER 16, SECTION 1.16.020 BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 1.16.020 Precinct boundaries. The wards shall be comprised of the following voting precincts within the city as established by the Board of County Commissioners: A. Ward 1 shall include precincts: 88.88.1; 92.92.1; 92.92.2; 93.93.1; 93.93.2; 94.94.1; 94.94.2; 95.95.1; 96.96.1; 97.97.1; 98.98.1; 99.99.1; 99.99.2; 100.100.1; 101.101.6; 101.101.7 B. Ward 2 shall include precincts: 24.24.4; 26.26.1; 27.27.1; 28.28.1; 28.28.2; 29.29.1; 29.29.2; 30.30.4; 32.32.2; 73.73.3; 89.89.1; 90.90.1 C. Ward 3 shall include precincts: 63.63.2; 66.66.1; 73.73.1; 73.73.2; 75.75.1; 76.76.1; 77.77.1; 78.78.1; 78.78.2; 79.79.1; 79.79.2; 81.81.1; 81.81.2; 82.82.1; 82.82.2; 85.85.2 D. Ward 4 shall include precincts: 53.53.1; 54.54.1; 55.55.1; 55.55.2; 55.55.3; 56.56.5; 57.57.2; 58.58.1; 59.59.3; 60.60.3; 63.63.1; 82.82.3; 83.83.1; 83.83.2; 84.84.1; 85.85.1; 87.87.2 E. Ward 5 shall include precincts: 46.46.3; 48.48.1; 48.48.2; 49.49.1; 49.49.2; 50.50.1; 50.50.2; 51.51.1; 52.52.1; 57.57.1; 59.59.4; 60.60.2; 67.67.1; 87.87.1 F. Ward 6 shall include precincts: 21.21.1; 59.59.1; 59.59.2; 60.60.1; 61.61.1; 61.61.2; 62.62.1; 64.64.1; 64.64.2; 65.65.1; 68.68.1; 69.69.2; 70.70,1; 72.72.1; 72.72.3; 74.74.1; 80.80.1; 80.80.2 Codification Instructions This ordinance shall be codified in Title 1, Chapter 16, Section 010 Missoula Municipal Code. Severability If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase and words thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases or words have been declared invalid or unconstitutional, and if for any reason this ordinance should be declared invalid or unconstitutional, then the remaining ordinance provisions will be in full force and effect.
