Timeline: Referral to committee: October 20, 2010 Committee discussion: Chair's discretion Council acts to set hearing: Chair's discretion Public Hearing: List date only if hearing is required, otherwise delete Deadline: List deadline associated if applicable, otherwise delete Background and Alternatives Explored: Many streets between Russell and Reserve are seriously deficient in pedestrian, drainage and other basic infrastructure. Curtis Street is a good (or bad) example of this problem. It is one of the few streets that connects north and south between River Road and S 3rd West, and thus receives a lot traffic (vehicles and pedestrian). Residents in the area are interested in improvements to Curtis Street. I'd like to hear from staff when we can expect improvements along Curtis Street.
