City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Public Works Committee Item: Amendment No. 9 to the Professional Engineering Agreement with HKM Engineering, Inc. for the Russell Street / South 3rd Street - Environmental Impact Statement Project Date: October 20, 2010 Prepared by: Gregg Wood Initiated by: Kevin Slovarp Action Required: Approve amendment to existing City/HKM Engineering, Inc. agreement for the Russell Street / South 3rd Street - Environmental Impact Statement Project Recommended Motion: I move the City Council approve and authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 9 to the City/HKM Engineering, Inc. agreement for the Russell Street / South 3rd Street - Environmental Impact Statement Project in the amount not to exceed $28,209 contingent upon City Attorney and Montana Department of Transportation’s concurrence. Timeline: Referral to committee: October 22, 2010 Committee discussion: October 27, 2010 Background and Alternatives Explored: This amendment is necessary to complete the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and to address a Federal Highway Administration request to re-write Section 4(f) discussion in Chapter 5 and to make modifications to graphics in Chapter 2.
