City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Administration & Finance Committee Item: Council Appointments to the Missoula Civic Television Advisory Committee Date: September 17, 2010 Prepared by: Kelly Elam Initiated by: Marty Rehbein Action Required: Appoint one to the position of a city resident representative to the Missoula Civic Television Advisory Committee for the term starting immediately and ending on December 31, 2013. Recommended Motion: I move the City Council appoint the following applicant the Missoula Civic Television Advisory Commission for a city resident representative for the term starting immediately and ending on December 31, 2013. Timeline: Referral to committee: September 17, 2010 Committee discussion: TBA Deadline: Background and Alternatives Explored: There are two vacancies on the Missoula Civic Television Advisory Commission for city resident representatives. Carol Bellin resigned on June 15, 2010 as she left town, and Antonio Guglielmo resigned on May 12, 2010 due to lack of time. The positions were advertised for four months and we received one application from the last advertisement that was due on September 15, 2010 from Ellen Cherry. The new term begins immediately and will end on December 31, 2013.
