Timeline: Referral to committee: February 4, 2010 Committee discussion: February 17, 2010 Background and Alternatives Explored: The Master Parks & Recreation Plan for the Greater Missoula Area (“MPP”) was adopted by the City Council in May 2004. Since then, we have been working to implement many of its goals in order to increase the quantity and quality of parklands and recreational opportunities in and around Missoula. An MPP action item recommends the preparation of an annual report that describes the progress made toward achieving the MPP and Open Space Plan goals over the past year. Attached is the 2009 Annual MPP Report. On February 17th, we will review the highlights of the report in Conservation. Attachment: MPP Report 2009
