Seven bids were received and a tabulation of these bids is attached. The table below lists the total bid price for each of the bids received. Contractor Total Base Bid Edstrom Construction $2,403,308.20 Safco Inc. $3,630,990.99 C.O.P. $3,745,868.00 LS Jensen $3,904,779.65 Western Excavating $3,948,575.50 Nelcon, Inc. $3,963,264.00 Sommer Construction $4,056,950.00 The Engineer’s Estimate for the project is $3,538,009.00. Following the Bid Opening, Edstrom Construction withdrew their bid in accordance with Section 00200, Article 16 of the Contract Documents. The Apparent Low Bidder for the project is Safco, Inc. Upon review of the entire Safco, Inc. Bid Package, there does not appear to be any errors or omissions. Morrison-Maierle, Inc. has researched the performance history of the Apparent Low Bidder, and concludes that they have the ability to perform the work included in this project within the time allowed for execution of the work. Morrison-Maierle, Inc. makes no representation or warranty as to the actual financial ability of the contractor or their ability to complete the Work.
