It would be good to start setting an example in Park development to work with existing native plants as much as possible. I am also interested in how the development of landscaping addresses water consumption while meeting basic park needs (ie, turf is definitely needed in many places, but is it needed in all?). I would also like clarification on the timeline and funding for this Park. It is a large, centrally located and therefore exciting Park and it would be helpful if Council were up to date on the progress and content. Financial Implications: Attachments:
