RESOLUTION NUMBER 7466 A RESOLUTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7-5-4308, MCA PROCEDURE TO MODIFY MUNICIPAL CONTRACTS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 – PINEVIEW PARK - PHASES I & III TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN PATTERSON ENTERPRISES, INC AND THE CITY OF MISSOULA. WHEREAS, the City of Missoula entered into a contract with Patterson Enterprises, on February 19th, 2009, for City Project PR 09-01 PV, Pineview Park – Phases I & III; and WHEREAS, during the construction of the facilities it became apparent that certain changes to the plan were necessary to achieve the intent of the project; and WHEREAS, the proposed change order has been reviewed and negotiated by the Project Manager and the contractor has agreed to the change in writing, as shown by the attached change order form. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Parks and Recreation Director is hereby authorized to execute changes to the February 19th, 2009 contract between Patterson Enterprises, Inc and the City of Missoula as follows: CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 2—PINEVIEW PARK (INCREASE) (DECREASE) DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES IN CONTRACT PRICE IN CONTRACT PRICE 1. Value engineering payment for the Electrical Features savings – $1,054.50 2. Increase quantity to reflect code-required thickened edge slab - $2,914.00 3. Remove & replace item 3 Planter edging with new design & price- $898.11 4. Reduce Playground curbing 50 lf – ($1,255.96) 5. Add hose reel fairlead mounting plate and installation - $180.00 6. Add cost to construct three sumps for playground drainage – $900.00 7. Add cost to fabricate and install oversize vent cap for gazebo - $1,100.00 8. Credit for refunded permit fee for gazebo - ($2,555.96) Net Change in Contract Price – Increase $3,235.65 The amount of the contract will be increased by the sum of $3,235.65 with no change to the contract calendar days.
