City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Conservation Committee Item: Council Appointments to the Greenhouse Gas & Energy Conservation Team Date: December 31, 2009 Prepared by: Kelly Elam Initiated by: Action Required: Appoint one member to the position of an Alternate 1 to the Greenhouse Gas & Energy Conservation Team for the term starting immediately, and ending on July 31, 2012. Recommended Motion: I move the City Council appoint the following applicant to the Greenhouse Gas & Energy Conservation Team for the Alternate 1 position for the term starting January 1, 2010 and ending on July 31, 2012. Timeline: Referral to committee: January 4, 2010 Committee discussion: February 3, 2010 Deadline: Background and Alternatives Explored: There is one position open on the Greenhouse Gas Energy Conservation Team for an Alternate 1. Applications closed on December 30, 2009 and we received one application, Katie George. Angelique Arachy relocated out of Missoula County and resigned on November 17th. The new term begins immediately and will end on July 31, 2012.
