Modern Machinery is the low bid vendor with the trade in credit. Please see the attached bid tabulations. Recommended Motion: Please return all bid bonds and award the purchase of one 2010 WA320-6 Wheel Loader to Modern Machinery of Missoula, Mt. for a total of $117,200. Modern Machinery is the low bid vendor with the trade in credit. Timeline: Referral to committee: November 9, 209 Committee discussion: December 9, 2009 Background and Alternatives Explored: This was a complex purchase due to the number of circumstances that changed the low bid vendor. As a result, the administration has elected to award this purchase to the low bid vendor with a trade in. With no trade in, Titan machinery was the low bidder. With a trade in, Modern Machinery was the low bidder. Using the buyback option Western States Equipment was the low bidder. Please see the attached bid tabulation. Financial Implications: The City of Missoula will receive $20,000 trade in credit for unit 141, a 1990 624E John Deere loader.
