The article implies the city wants the land, what are the implications (i.e. financial, staffing, development, etc) of accepting ownership? Why have we chosen to have an adversarial relationship with Knife River who has freely chosen to donate 86.5 acres? Does the city intend on refusing the donation? What is the current status?
