He brings an excellent knowledge of infrastructure planning, design, and traffic engineering, with pronounced expertise in infrastructure planning and finance for community development. PROJECT EXPERIENCE Old Sawmill District Project, Missoula, MT - Lead Engineer Mr. Campbell is the lead engineer for the redevelopment of this 45-acre brownfield site in downtown Missoula. Responsibilities include infrastructure design and cost estimating, parking planning, floodplain coordination, and permitting. He also assisted with land use planning in the preliminary and final plats and special zoning district. Riverfront Triangle Master Plan and Cleanup, Missoula, MT - Project Manager Mr. Campbell provided transportation and civil engineering expertise on the redevelopment plan for this critical riverfront location in downtown Missoula. He was also the project manager for the Fox Site environmental cleanup project within the Triangle area. Missoula Downtown Streets Infrastructure Plan, Missoula, MT – Project Manager Led this important community project to strengthen the downtown with a feasibility study and extensive public involvement. Project elements included traffic analyses, location identification, streetscaping guidelines, urban streetscape design, and cost estimates. US Hwy 93, North of Arlee – Vicinity White Coyote Road (Jocko River Crossing), Flathead Indian Reservation, MT – Project Manager Project included a new bridge crossing the Jocko River, and stream and wetland restoration of the Jocko Hollow. Landscaping, stormwater management, and wildlife crossings were important elements of the project. 39th Street & SW Higgins Avenue Reconstruction Project, Missoula, MT – Project Manager Responsibilities included overall project management for this complex arterial reconstruction project. Project elements included improving geometrics; intersection improvements; streetscaping, a new traffic signal, and modification of existing signals; storm drainage and sanitary sewer systems; public involvement: and new facilities for bicycles, pedestrians, and transit, totaling over $10 million in construction improvements. Brooks/South/Russell Intersection Project, Missoula, MT – Project Manager Performed traffic analyses and channelization design for reconfiguration of the 6-way “Malfunction Junction” intersection in Missoula. Organized public meetings and involvement for this controversial project. This project has received numerous awards, including ACEC Montana Grand Project Award. North Reserve Street Improvement Project, Missoula, MT – Project Manager Responsibilities included project management, geometric design, alternative analysis, and public involvement for this $20 million construction project.
