Engineering Service Agreement for Miller Creek Road Storm Drain Upsizing Date: April 8, 2010 Prepared by: Monte Sipe Initiated by: Steve King Action Required: Approve Agreement for Engineering Services to WGM Group, Inc., for redesign of the Miller Creek Road Project storm drain system to accept drainage from Upper Miller Creek Road. Recommended Motion: The committee recommends the City Council approve and authorize the Mayor to sign an Agreement for Engineering Services to WGM Group, Inc., for redesign of the Miller Creek Road Project storm drain system to accept drainage from Upper Miller Creek Road in the amount not to exceed $7,500. Timeline: Referral to committee: April 19, 2010 Committee discussion: April 21, 2010 Background and Alternatives Explored: Missoula County Public Works desires to include drainage from Upper Miller Creek Road in the drain system being constructed for Miller Creek Road. Accommodating runoff from Upper Miller Creek requires upsizing the storm drain pipe and larger diameter manholes. This amendment includes additional services as explained in the attachment. Financial Implications: The contract amount of $7,500 is being paid out of the project funds in a City-County Interlocal Agreement. Attachments: Engineering Services Agreement
