PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE WGM GROUP, INC., Vice President and Principal (30 Years) Responsible for the planning, public involvement, and public review process on all planning and major engineering projects. Responsible for the planning and design of recreational, residential, commercial, and industrial development projects. Coordinates with engineering staff to ensure all projects are efficient and functional. Other responsibilities include preparation of land capability studies, environmental analyses, parks, landscaping, and economic and social impact analyses. Albertson’s project included integrating a wetland into the site design. Recreational Vehicle Park Flathead RV, Polson, MT – Designed RV park on north shore of Flathead River Lolo RV, Lolo, MT – Designed RV park on south side of Lolo. Industrial Park Burlington Northern Industrial Park, Missoula, MT – Managed the design and subdivision review process, including zoning and redesign, on this important property along North Reserve Street. Grant Creek Center, Missoula, MT – Led the design and subdivision review process. Gravel Extraction – Reclamation American Asphalt, L.S. Held neighborhood meetings to address nuisance allegations for noise, dust, and safety, and provided a successful mitigation plan. Canyon Creek Village, Canyon East and Windsor Park, Missoula, MT – Managed the design, pubic involvement, and review process, including zoning, on projects totaling 414 lots of traditional neighborhoods, affordable housing, and mixed-use development. 44 Ranch, Missoula, MT – Designed and coordinated pubic involvement and review process, including zoning, for this 600-lot plus traditional neighborhood project. Traditional Neighborhoods Hellgate Meadows, Missoula, MT – Assisted in design, pubic involvement, and review process, including zoning, on the more than 150-lot project with Montana’s first round-a-bout. Elderly (55 years old and up) Silverwood, Missoula, MT – Managed design, pubic involvement, and review process for townhome project. Hunter’s Glen, Grizzly Peak, Missoula, MT – Site planning, re-zoning, and site civil work. Orchard Promenade, Missoula, MT – Mobile home lease sites with clubhouse. Golf Course – Residential Polson Golf Course, Polson, MT – Assisted in golf course design, and designed residential development adjoining additional 18 holes of golf added to municipal golf course. South Whitefish Transportation Planning, Whitefish, MT – Prepared a multi-modal transportation plan for southern portion of the City of Whitefish. Transportation Planning and Design Projects Bypass Studies, Kalispell, Polson, and Whitefish, MT – Integral to preparation of transportation and bypass studies for Cities during evaluation of US Highway 93, included coordination of public involvement and public opinion research surveys. Expert Witness, Legal Testimony Pattee Canyon Fire, Missoula, MT – Provided testimony on development capability and suitability of lands damaged by the Pattee Canyon Fire in Missoula. American Asphalt Gravel Pit, Missoula, MT – Provided testimony on site suitability for gravel extraction and processing and the integral nature of gravel to community development. Adaptive Use Missoula Mill Site, Missoula, MT – Worked with Design Workshop from Denver, Colorado on the mixed-use redevelopment of this important site adjacent to the downtown. Safeway, Missoula, MT – Worked with St. Patrick Hospital on public involvement and re-zoning of this site to retain a grocery store in the downtown and allow for vital hospital expansion. Conservation Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Headquarters, Missoula, MT – Worked on design, public involvement, and re-zoning on important conservation group’s headquarters. Blackfoot Corridor and Lindberg Lake, Missoula County, MT – Assisted Plum Creek Timber Company in assessment of sites, which led to application of large conservation easements. Mission Bay Preserve, Polson, MT – Incorporated conservation design techniques to preserve Flathead Lake shoreline, re-vegetated a riparian area, preserved view corridors, clustered residential lots, and preserved agricultural land on site north of Highway 35. Circle H Ranch, Missoula County, MT – Used conservation design to protect critical elk habitat and preserve views on 1,500-acre ranch. Project included public involvement, re-zoning, and subdivision review. Placid Lake, Missoula County, MT – Designed subdivision and conservation easement to protect wetlands and shoreline. Maloney Ranch, Missoula County, MT – Led planning, design, public involvement, and review process on 2,500-acre ranch with large conservation easements, public land dedications, neighborhood commercial, and multi- and single-family uses, with a total development plan for 1,100 residential units.
