MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF MISSOULA AND TEAMSTERS LOCAL #2 REPRESENTING SEASONAL EMPLOYEES OF THE MAINTENANCE DIVISION IN THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING is made and entered into between the City of Missoula, County of Missoula, State of Montana (hereinafter referred to as the Employer) and the Teamsters Union, Local No. 2 (hereinafter referred to as the Union). In the spirit of teamwork and cooperation the Association has agreed to no wage increase for FY2011. The Union understands the economic constraints that the Employer is experiencing and has agreed to forego the negotiated increase as listed in the current collective bargaining agreement. In recognition of the Association's cooperation the Employer agrees to the following: Article 19 – Wage Scales Effective July 1, 2010 the wage table listed below will apply to Parks and Recreation Seasonal Maintenance Technician Assistants, Crew Coordinators and Parks Maintenance Workers. Parks Maintenance Technician Assistants, Crew Coordinators and Arborists Assistants will receive a 3% increase, plus an additional $.35 per hours for fiscal years 2008 and 2009. In fiscal years 2010, Maintenance Technician Assistants will receive a 3% increase plus an additional $.50 per hour. In fiscal year 2011, the Union has agreed not to take an increase and will get a 3% increase in fiscal year 2012 plus an additional $.50 per hour and in fiscal year 2013 will receive a 3% increase. Parks and Recreation Seasonal Maintenance Workers will receive a 3% increase plus an additional $.15/hr for fiscal years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012. The Union has agreed not to take a wage increase in fiscal year 2011 and will receive 3% increase in fiscal year 2013. WORK 12.35 12.35 12.86 $13.26 ---PAGE BREAK--- Article 23 Term of the Agreement The terms of this Agreement shall be extended for two years after the expiration date of the original Agreement through June 30, 2013. The Agreement shall be automatically renewed from year to year thereafter unless either party shall notify the other in writing sixty (60) days prior to the expiration date that it desires to modify or terminate this Agreement.
