Program Description: Lobbyist and lobbyist registration expenditures will be supported by this enhancement. If necessary, other administrative costs such as office supplies, printing, etc., will be supported by the Mayor's budget outside of this funding request. 2. Service Delivery Impact: 3. Personnel Requirements: Funds will support City of Missoula lobbying efforts during the 2011 Session of the Montana State Legislature. A private, Helena- based lobby firm, represented city interests during the 2009 Session which facilitated close involvement in session activities at the Capitol. Outside lobbyists were first utilized during the 2007 Session. Prior to 2007, mayors, council members and key staff members acted as the primary lobbyists representing city interests. The City's political interests during the legislative sessions are often complex and adequate funding is critical to support city interests. 4.
