City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Public Works Committee Item: Miller Creek Road Improvements – WGM Group Agreement Amendment No. 4 Date: February 25, 2010 Prepared by: Monte Sipe Initiated by: Steve King/Kevin Slovarp Action Required: Consider Amendment No. 4 of the Agreement for Engineering Services to WGM Group, Inc., for Miller Creek Road Improvements. Recommended Motion: The committee recommends the City Council approve and authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 4 of the Agreement for Engineering Services to WGM Group, Inc., for Miller Creek Road Improvements in the amount of $42,069. Timeline: Referral to committee: March 1, 2010 Committee discussion: March 10, 2010 Background and Alternatives Explored: This is amendment No. 4 to the agreement between the City of Missoula and WGM Group Inc. to complete final road and irrigation design, modify and update construction documents and plans based on City/County review, utility coordination and provide construction administration for the Miller Creek Road Reconstruction Project between Briggs Street and Mockingbird Way. This amendment includes additional services as explained in the attachment. Financial Implications: This amendment is for $42,069. The original contract was $300,036. Amendment No. 1 was approved September 8, 2008 in the amount of $35,878 for an amended total contract amount of $335,914. Amendment No. 2 was approved March 23, 2009 in the amount of $28,951 for an amended total contract amount of $364,865. Amendment No. 3 was approved July 6, 2009 in the amount of $46,340 for an amended total contract amount of $411,205. The total contract amount with the approval Amendment No. 4 would be $453,274.
