Recommended Motion: The committee recommends the City Council approve a right-of-way encroachment permit for 138 West Broadway. Timeline: Referral to committee: September 21, 2009 Committee discussion: September 23, 2009 Background and Alternatives Explored: The new building foot print is on the property lines adjacent to the Ryman and Broadway right-of-ways. The proposed building design includes several 2’3” to 3’4” roof overhangs, a 6’ canopy overhang on the 1st floor, and 3’ sunshade encroachments on the 2nd through 5th floors.
