City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Administration and Finance Committee Item: Council Appointments to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee Date: November 5, 2010 Prepared by: Kelly Elam Initiated by: Action Required: Appoint one member to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee for the term commencing December 1, 2010 through November 30, 2014. Recommended Motion: I move the City Council appoint to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee for the term starting December 1, 2010 through November 30, 2014. Timeline: Referral to committee: November 8, 2010 Committee discussion: November 17, 2010 Council acts to set hearing: Public Hearing: Deadline: None, members continue serving until reappointed or a successor is named. Background and Alternatives Explored: There is one vacancy on the Impact Fee Advisory Committee. Jerry Ford's term expires on November 30, 2010. The City Clerk office sent a letter and application to Mr. Ford notifying him of his expiring term and to reapply. A letter from the Mayors office was sent to him also by mistake. On November 1, 2010 the Mayor appointed Mr. Ford to the committee for the term commencing December 1, 2010 through November 30, 2014. The City Clerk deadline for applications closed on November 3, 2010 and we received one application from Paul Hubbard for a city council appointment.
