Recommended Motion: The committee recommends the City Council approve a right-of-way encroachment permit for the GLR parking lot located on the 200 block of west Pine Street. Timeline: Referral to committee: 8/24/09 Committee discussion: 8/26/09 Background and Alternatives Explored: GLR wishes to install a lift gate system to control access to their parking lot. The gates are proposed to be located just behind the sidewalk on private property. The key-card readers need to placed within the city sidewalk near the curb line.
