City of Missoula, Montana Item to be Referred to City Council Committee Committee: Public Works Item: Bid Award for SID-546 Pattee Creek DriveTraffic Calming Improvements Date: September 14, 2009 Prepared by: Monte Sipe Initiated by: Phil Smith/Doug Harby Action Required: Review bids for traffic calming improvement project, award bid to lowest responsible bidder and authorize return of bid bonds. Recommended Motion: The committee recommends the City Council award the bid for SID-546, Pattee Creek DriveTraffic Calming Improvements to Knife River, for the base bid of $25,000 and authorize return of bid bonds. Timeline: Referral to committee: September 14, 2009 Committee discussion: September 16, 2009 Background and Alternatives Explored: Attached is the bid tabulation for the traffic calming improvements on Pattee Creek Dr. Construction will be completed late summer/fall of 2009.
