RESOLUTION NUMBER 7526 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ADOPT AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF MISSOULA SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS AND TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR JUNE 7, 2010. WHEREAS, 76-3-501 Montana Code Annotated authorizes the City Council to adopt subdivision regulations; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted subdivision regulations for the City of Missoula with amendments; and, WHEREAS, 76-3-501 M.C.A. provides for the revision of subdivision regulations; and, WHEREAS, the proposed amendments to the City of Missoula Subdivision Regulations specifically revise Articles 1 through 9, in response to State legislative actions, alignment with recently established Title 20, agency comments; and to reflect County revisions; and WHEREAS, after public notice in the Missoulian, a newspaper of general circulation, on March 21st and 28th, the Missoula Consolidated Planning Board held two public hearings on April 6 and 20, 2010, to hear and consider recommendations; and WHEREAS, the Missoula Consolidated Planning Board unanimously recommended the approval of the Planning Board Draft 3/10/2010, with revisions, to the Missoula City Council; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Missoula City Council adopts this Resolution of Intent to adopt the amendments to the City of Missoula Subdivision Regulations, and hereby sets a public hearing on the revision and any additional amendments that City Council may offer for June 7, 2010. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the passage and adoption of this resolution of intention in the Missoulian on May 23 and May 30, 2010.
