Winter is here, and it ’s time to show your irrigation system a little love! Please remember to properly winterize your irrigation to prevent frozen pipes, leaks, and costly repairs. Planning plumbing work? If you don’t currently have a shutoff valve at your water connection, it ’s a smar t idea to have your plumber install one. It can save time, money, and stress down the road. Meter Pit Reminder ( This Is Impor tant!) There is a fine for entering Town meter pits. This applies to homeowners and hired plumbers. For safety and system protection, Town staff are the only ones authorized to access meter pits. Need your water turned off? Please call the Town office to schedule a water shutoff. If you have a plumber scheduled, be sure to contact the Town and schedule the shutoff at least 24 hours prior to your plumbing appointment. Our staff are the only ones authorized to operate the meter pits and will be happy to assist. A little preparation now can prevent a big splash later.
