Chairman's Corner Spring is just around the corner. Our parks are starting to turn green and residents are once again stepping out to enjoy what Minden has to offer. The Town Staff is working hard preparing Minden Park, Westwood Park and Jake’s Wetland as everything starts to grow and bloom. Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention the Seeman Ranch Park project. The fishing dock and bathroom have been installed. We are waiting for the arrival of the pavilion and warmer weather to pave the parking area. Please take the time to visit and enjoy this new facility. This summer a project is slated for the Westwood Park splash pad. Minden is proud of our parks and facilities, and we always look forward to our residents using and enjoying them. Please help us in keeping them free of litter and trash. Dog owners, please use the doggie bags we provide and pick up after your dog. I am extremely proud of our entire staff. When you are out and about, please take the time to thank them for the outstanding job they do for our town. — Bill Driscoll 1604 Esmeralda Ave, Suite 101 Minden, NV 89423 Phone: [PHONE REDACTED] Fax: [PHONE REDACTED] E-mail: [EMAIL REDACTED] www.townofminden.com The Yard Waste program has resumed for Thursday pickups. You can turn the trash can on its side and spray it out really well. 2. Make a bleach soluƟon or cleaning soluƟon, using 4 cups of disƟlled vinegar, ½ cup of dish liquid and water. 3. Dip your extendable scrub brush or any scrub brush you'd like to use in the soluƟon and start scrubbing the inside of your trash can. 4. Once you have scrubbed the inside of the trash can really well, turn it on its side and let all of the gunk out. 5. Now it's Ɵme to clean the outside of your trash can! Dip a scrub brush into the cleaning soluƟon and give the outside a good scrubbing. 6. Rinse in and outside of your trash can with the water hose. Let dry.
