A special thank you goes to Model Dairy, Alpen Sierra Coffee and Nature’s Bakery for their contributions to the event… and what about the Town of Minden float… good job staff!!!! With the 4th of July just around the corner, mark your calendars for the celebration in Minden Park, complete with a hamburger and hot dog barbeque, music, fun and games for all. Kids, plan on bringing your patriotically decorated bikes to join in the bike parade around the park. Staff has been busy the last couple of months and have completed the Jake’s Wetlands Pavilion project. The Westwood Park Pavilion has also been completed with picnic tables soon to be added. Both are great spots to enjoy an outdoor picnic lunch. Soon the Westwood Park splash pad will be constructed and then let the fun begin! If you live in the Town of Minden and LOVE IT, stop by the Town offices and tell the staff; waive to the person picking up your trash; or just give them a “thumbs up” when you see them.
