My year as Chairman is coming to an end and I want to thank the Staff and my fellow Board Members for helping make it another successful year in Minden. ~ Roxanne We live in such a giving and caring community. Anyone who has participated in the Channel 2 Share Your Christmas Drive-By Food Drive knows that our valley is exceptional. The Town of Minden wants to help our residents be a part of this great event from the convenience of your own home! I am pleased to announce the Minden Town Board recently confirmed the appointment of five mem- bers to a Main Street Minden Board. If you are interested in getting involved in this exciting pro- gram please do not hesitate to contact Interim Program Manager Sheila Kendrick at mainstreetminden@ gmail.com. Finally I would like to take this opportunity to share with you that another long time member of Town Staff, Andy Concannon retired in August. Mr. Concannon was a supervisor responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of the Town’s water to it’s customers, among many other things. Several residents have expressed their appreciation for the work completed by Andy and his crew over the years. He will be greatly missed. My sincere thanks to Andy for his dedication to the town. Andy truly was one of Minden’s best, we were lucky to have him. ~Jenifer Cold Weather is on it’s way! Don’t forget to winterize your pipes!
