Chairman’s Corner Well it seems like summer, at least for a few days, that’s northern Nevada. As you know, the Carson Valley Day Minden Breakfast has been cancelled, but the parade is sƟll going forward, so do come out and enjoy. The Town Board MeeƟng is the 1st Wednesday of the month starƟng at 5:30pm, please join and share your ideas. The Town Staff is working hard and their efforts certainly show. The place is looking nice. Hope to see you at our meeƟngs. Esmeralda Ave. Farmer’s Market every Tuesday evening from 4pm to 8pm FIND US ONLINE AT TOWNOFMINDEN.COM ---PAGE BREAK--- TRASH TIPS (Excludes the Ranch @ Gardnerville & Heybourne Meadows) Please separate your cans 3 feet apart to avoid damages Holiday Trash Schedule: There will be no changes to your regularly scheduled trash day. Yard Waste: For your BROWN can. Please do not put any trash, plastic bags, or doggy poop in this can. It is for clippings and yard refuse only. Large branches need to be cut down and cannot stick out of the top. Green Waste is picked up on Thursday. Please have your cans out by 6:00am. Extra Trash Day: Your 3rd trash pickup of the month. Set the extra trash off to the side of your cans. Please do not put the extra trash in the Brown can. Water conservaƟon is something we can all parƟcipate in. Although the Town does not currently enforce limited water use, we do ask all residents to be mindful to not waste water. Be sure to water your yard and outdoor plants early or late in the day to reduce evaporaƟon. As a friendly reminder, please stay out of the water meter pits, as this may cause damage to the equipment. If you have a water related emergency and need your water turned off, please call the Town Office at 775‐782‐5976 or Dispatch at 775‐782‐5126. You may have also noƟced our Water Crew around town installing water meters.
