Town of Minden Winter Newsletter 2021/22 Happy New Year to all our awesome Minden residents. First, I want to thank the members of the Minden Town Board; Chairman Susie Jackson, Roxanne Stangle, Steve Thaler and Bryan Davis for electing me to Chairman of the Minden Town Board for 2022, a job I take very seriously. I look forward to 2022 with optimism for our Town. As a board elected by you, we are always open for new ideas and discussions about making the Town of Minden a better place to live. Calling All Homeowners who have Tenants! If your tenants do not receive the Newsletter with the billing and they would like it, we have an e-blast that we can send out to them. Newsletters are helpful for Town Business, trash & water updates, and upcoming events. ---PAGE BREAK--- 3 feet from your cans by 6:00 a.m. on your scheduled trash day. We will take care of the rest! Please have 3 feet between each can and other obstacles where possible. The Yard Waste Program will resume on March 3rd. Remember not to put trash in your brown can. Please make sure to always have your cans out by 6 a.m. Please do not put your Christmas trees in your green waste cans. Put Keep the sidewalk in front of your property clear. Shovel the snow into your yard and enjoy the benefits in the spring after it melts! Do not shovel the snow into the street. This inhibits proper drainage and can cause a big mess. Remember that the Town will only plow the streets if there is accumulation of at least 4” on the ground with a projection of more to come within the next twelve hours. The complete snow policy and phasing plan is available from the Town Office as well as on the website at www.townofminden.com As a reminder, to ensure the effecƟveness of our storm drains, please do not intenƟonally blow leaves into the streets. This could clog the drains which could cause flooding and other damage.
