NOTICE OF SPECIAL BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING On Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Emergency Operations Center, 1694 County Road, Minden, Nevada, a possible quorum of the Minden Town Board will convene at 1:00 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Agenda Public Interest Comments (No action) This is a workshop and all public comment will be taken at the beginning of the workshop Public comment is limited to three minutes per speaker. 1. Budget Workshop with representatives of the Town Boards of Minden and Gardnerville, Indian Hills General Improvement District, and East Fork Fire and Paramedic Districts to discuss various strategies to address FY 11-12 property tax rate issues and to maximize Douglas County’s tax rate. Copies of the Workshop agenda are posted at the following locations: Minden Inn, Administration Building (Historic Courthouse) Judicial and Law Enforcement Center, Gardnerville Post Office, Minden Post Office, Minden Library, Town of Minden, Town of Gardnerville, Indian Hills General Improvement District Office, East Fork Fire and Paramedic District Office, Douglas County Demonstration Building and the Tahoe Transportation Center at Stateline NV.
