Potential Woodland Avenue Community Reinvestment Area ---PAGE BREAK--- A Small Piece of Salt Lake City became part of Millcreek July 1, 2020 ---PAGE BREAK--- This piece is part of Millcreek’s City Center Master Plan. This piece of land is located in the middle of the already created Millcreek Center CRA ---PAGE BREAK--- Millcreek plans to create part of a new city center on the newly annexed property. ---PAGE BREAK--- The Millcreek City Center Plan will create an amenity and open space for the community that will encourage walkable mixed-use developments around it. ---PAGE BREAK--- CRA is a critical piece to making Millcreek Center happen • Opportunity Zone (tool from the feds to encourage investment in area) • Community Reinvestment Area (tool from state to allow Tax Increment Financing of critical infrastructure) • City coordination with property owners, businesses, and developers ---PAGE BREAK--- Proposed Woodland Ave CRA Budget ---PAGE BREAK--- Woodland Avenue CRA • Complete the CRA for Millcreek City Center • Entice new development • Support the new Millcreek Common • Create an economic and community asset
