The work will be completed in phases with the first phase running from 4500 South to Murray- ---PAGE BREAK--- 7/22/2019 Mill & Overlay Work to Begin on Highland Drive 2/11 View our Community Calendar here Holladay Road and the second phase from 3900 South to 4500 South. Each phase is expected to take around a week and the hope is that the entire project will be completed in a two week period, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. During construction there will be lane shifts but at least one lane in each direction will remain open to accommodate traffic. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic. Access points to businesses and homes will also remain open except for the brief period of time when asphalt is being laid adjacent to driveways. We have heard from many of our residents about the deteriorating condition of the Highland Drive roadway and this street has been a high priority for repairs. We are hopeful that this mill & overlay will fix the road for 8 to 10 years with ongoing sealing maintenance. We appreciate your patience and are happy to announce we are making progress on fixing your roads. Please slow down and drive carefully in construction zones.
