This is a legislative matter, to be decided by the Millcreek City Council upon receiving a recommendation from the Community Council(s) and the Millcreek Planning Commission. Applicant: City The attached draft of the subdivisions ordinance reflects the Planning Commission’s final recommendations, as well as specific revisions as directed by staff that occurred after the Planning Commission’s recommendation. The revisions in the ordinance draft are highlighted with a “revision note” explaining staff’s final recommendation on the particular item. In addition to the revisions in the attached Logan Simpson draft, the ordinance adoption document includes the following changes: 1. Minor formatting and numbering changes to conform to the structure of Millcreek Code 2. Adjustments to terminology and technical corrections upon the advice of the City Attorney 3. The addition of an Appeals Chapter (18.07). 4. A correction to Figure 18.01.1 – Flag Lot Layout to provide additional clarity to the requirements. 5. A reduction in the mailed notice requirement for lot line adjustments and subdivision amendments from 300 feet to affected property owners who have a direct interest in, or who will be directly affected by the proposed change, including the applicant. 6. The addition of a Subdivision Requirements Checklist as an appendix to Title 18, which is to be approved by the 2sada City Council and updated from time to time by the Planning Director. Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance as presented, and will discuss with the City Council each of these recommended changes.
