The Millcreek Arts Council's Summer Jam Concert Series continues this Monday, 7:00 PM, with Michelle Moonshine, a Salt Lake City- based singer / songwriter who tours extensively around the country. "With original songs rooted in her Honky Tonk heroes of the past and tone remeniscent of a young Emmylou Harris, Michelle and company (JohnDavis / Electric Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica & Bronk Onion / Upright bass, Vocals) deliver a performance that feels both raw yet refined. Declining her recruitment from NBC's The Voice, Michelle traded bright lights for staying in dirty motels, and a chance to serve the song with her band. Currently working on their new album with no shortage of new material after a long and eventful year, they maintain a heavy touring schedule and continue to showcase their music regionally with lush harmony and ample twang." http://michellemoonshine.com/bio/ The Summer Jam Concerts are held at the Canyon Rim Park amphitheatre, located at 3100 South 2900 East in Millcreek. This free family friendly show starts at 7:00 PM. Soda pop and snacks for sale, with proceeds going to the Milcreek Arts Council.
