Christian Thompson out of town 6:40 Elected Officials Mayor: Much better year for fireworks. Complaint that the city cares more for the East Side and not West of 9:00 East. Most people obeyed the fireworks policies this year. Grandeur Peak fire 1.6 acres — power line Mayor rode along with the fire department COVID — surge — St. Mark’s has 23 people and 8 ICU Public Health Night City has a Double A rating to get a bond for the new City Hall Filing deadline is August 10 and 11 for city officer. Update with the cement in Millcreek spill — Tried to plug two drains by pouring cement down them. Cement went into creek and killed all the fish because the PH went up. With the rain storms most of the cement was washed down stream. Rep. Owens: Re-districting South and west growing review maps Ann Granato: Talked about less fires because of the fireworks policy. She spoke about helping Log Haven move their fence to help them out. 7:00 Citizen’s Open Forum Jamie: Concert by the Utah to raise money for the business that got burned. The council asked about the proximity of a fire hydrant and there is one within code distance to the property. Council asked that it be clarified on the plans. The Council’s questions were satisfied. The council asked about the status of the traffic study as it relates to the right turn only out of the complex; it is being worked and to be completed soon.
