The mailing address that I designate for receiving official election notices is: Signature of Candidate COMMUNITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE FILING QUALIFICATIONS Before the filing officer accepts any declaration of candidacy, the statutory requirements for candidacy shall be read, and the candidate shall state whether he/she fulfills the requirements of candidacy. If the candidate indicates that such candidate does not qualify, the filing officer shall decline such person’s candidacy. If filing for a Community Council – At-Large Member • U.S. Citizen at time of filing • Registered voter (Utah Code 20A-2- 101 & 104) of Salt Lake County for six months immediately preceding the date of this election • Resident of the council area in which he/she is seeking office for at least six months prior to the date of this Election If filing for a Community Council District • Each of the council district members shall have been a registered voter of the county and of the district from which he/she would be elected for at least six months immediately preceding this election, and must be elected by the registered voters of the district which the council member represents
