Town Hall will focus on shifting of UPD taxes as shown on property tax notices that are being mailed. Also question and answers about Millcreek City General Plan will be entertained. 3. The Mayor and MOCC Chair David Baird discussed UDOT preliminary alternative analysis for the redesign of every lane of traffic in the mouth of Parleys Canyon. Currently four separate traffic designs are being considered to address long term traffic concerns. We are not in favor of UDOT plans as proposed as these plans may severely limit or eliminate the Grandeur Peak Trailhead, along with a considerable risk that Wasatch Blvd may be severely narrowed or eliminated, plus there is a chance that homes along the northern sections of Wasatch Blvd. north of 3300 S. may be at risk. So what can we do ---PAGE BREAK--- to help? Let us join them in voicing formal opposition to these alternatives by reviewing the plans on the link: udot.utah.gov/parleysEIS. then leaving a voicemail on the UDOT hotline (801) 743-7885 and sending an email. Please voice concerns immediately as comments must be received prior to August 10, 2018. Plus, please attend the next public meeting on this project, scheduled with the Salt Lake City Council on July 31st at 4 pm (451 S. State Street 3rd floor). 4. UPD and UFA reports were presented, the good news is that compared to last year the number of calls during 4th of July holiday dropped significantely. Meeting Adjourned at 8:30 pm. Next Meeting Tuesday August 7th 2018. Minutes recorded and submitted to MOCC by Kumar Shah
