I (We) understand and agree to comply with all specific regulations outlined in the city code for residential short-term rentals, as detailed below: 1. Purpose: I (We) acknowledge that the purpose of these regulations is to establish standards for short-term rentals in residential neighborhoods, with the aim of ensuring the safety, welfare, and character of Millcreek residents, as well as promoting affordable housing. 2. Primary Residence: I (We) confirm that the property for which I (we) am applying for a short- term rental license is my primary residence, as defined by the city code, and that I (we) reside at this property for a minimum of 183 consecutive calendar days per year. 3. License Requirement: I (We) understand that it is unlawful to operate a short-term rental without first obtaining the required STR license from Millcreek. I (We) commit to obtaining this license before renting out my property. I (we) understand that if I (we) change primary residence that I (we) will lose my (our) Short Term Rental Business License. Any future owners must obtain their own license. 4. License Application: I (We) agree to provide all necessary information and documentation as required by the city code for the STR license application, including but not limited to: • The location of the short-term rental • Proof of primary residency • Site plan/drawing of the proposed short-term rental • Number of rooms available for rent • Sales tax collection and accounting number • Contact information of the property owner or owner’s agent available 24/7 5. Inspections and Renewals: I (We) understand that my short-term rental property may be subject to periodic inspections to ensure compliance with all regulations. I (We) commit to providing proof of primary residency upon annual license renewal. I (We) affirm that we shall pay all applicable taxes, charges, and fees, including transient room tax in full during the period of licensure. 6. Maintenance and Limitations: I (We) agree to maintain the short-term rental property to the minimum standards outlined in the city code, including limiting occupancy to no more than ---PAGE BREAK--- eight related adults or four unrelated adults, ensuring that there are a minimum of two off- street parking spaces for the resident of each dwelling and one additional off-street parking space for each available rented bedroom, providing periodic housekeeping services, ensuring snow removal, and adhering to noise regulations.
