The Unified Fire Authority will be conducting free assessments of homes next week to determine their risk of danger in the event of a wildfire along Millcreek's eastern foothills. If you live along the red line shown in the map below, click here to sign up for a time on Tuesday or Wednesday (May 28 or 29) for fire crews to walk your property with you. They'll help ---PAGE BREAK--- 5/28/2019 Free Wildfire Risk Assessments Next Week 2/11 you determine what you need to do to fire-harden your house. Many of us will likely be required to clear trees and brush around our homes. The Fuels Crew will be back in these neighborhoods the following week or two to chip cleared vegetation into mulch. You'll need to pile your brush by the roadside by June 5th, stacked in a single direction with the large end toward the street. The chipper trucks will be by on June 10th through the 13th, but note that they will make only one pass through each neighborhood. Also, the crews won't be able to take anything from your driveway, so don't stack it there! If you don't live along the red line in this map, keep your eyes out here and on Millcreek's website to determine when this program will be in your area. Stop in and check out the antique car rally in the parking lot of Millcreek City Hall this afternoon (5/24) between 4 & 7 pm. Hopefully we don't get rained out! ---PAGE BREAK--- 5/28/2019 Free Wildfire Risk Assessments Next Week 3/11 ---PAGE BREAK--- 5/28/2019 Free Wildfire Risk Assessments Next Week 4/11 ---PAGE BREAK--- 5/28/2019 Free Wildfire Risk Assessments Next Week 5/11 ---PAGE BREAK--- 5/28/2019 Free Wildfire Risk Assessments Next Week 6/11 ---PAGE BREAK--- 5/28/2019 Free Wildfire Risk Assessments Next Week 7/11 For details contact Natalie Clawson at [PHONE REDACTED] or [EMAIL REDACTED] A Message from the Millcreek City Recorder: The following municipal offices are to be voted upon in the Millcreek 2019 Municipal Election to serve four-year terms: Mayor, Council District 1 and Council District 3.
